Our Community Transport Program is designed to bridge that gap. We help clients reach vital services, reduce social isolation, and enhance overall wellbeing. We service clients living in the Blue Mountains, between Mt Victoria and Glenbrook and can get you to medical appointments in Penrith and Lithgow as well.

You may be eligible for Community Transport if you:

  • are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander resident to the Blue Mountains

  • have a disability or health issue which limits your mobility

  • have language challenges that limit your access to transport

  • live in an area with little or no public transport and don’t have access to private transport

  • are elderly

  • have mobility issues

  • do not have a driver's licence

  • face other significant barriers to accessing transport

Hospital, Medical & Allied Health Transport

We can provide health related transport in the Blue Mountains and to Penrith and Lithgow.

You can use our transport to visit the doctor, hospital, dentist, podiatrist, day surgery, physiotherapist, optometrist, medical imaging, massage therapist or other any other specialist - where you need to go to help maintain your health and wellbeing.

Individual Transport

BMACRC offers door-to-door transport with flexible pick up times to assist with transport anywhere in your local government area and even a bit beyond.

Visit your friends and family, attend personal appointments, activities, functions or events, go shopping or enjoy a day out.

Social Outings

BMACRC conducts regular social outings and provides the transport so you can catch up with friends and family or even meet new people.

Our social outings are group-based day trips. You are picked up in the morning and taken to the destination, followed by lunch before you are dropped back home in the afternoon.
